Mehta Burkett Co v. Burkett

Following a four week jury trial in February 1996, The Mills Law Firm obtained a $1.3 million verdict on behalf of a merchant and investment banking firm on the basis of breach of fiduciary duty by a corporate officer and director. The trial court's verdict was upheld on appeal by the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of California.
