Salvas et al v Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. Middlesex Superior Court, Civil Action No. 01-03645

Carolyn Burton of the Mills Law Firm was appointed as lead counsel in the Massachusetts-based class action.  The Firm represented 90,000 Wal-Mart employees state-wide in a class action involving allegations of wage and hour violations.  The $40,000,000 cash settlement was a Massachusetts record and represented the highest per capita recovery of any of the 16 Wal-Mart settlements nationwide.
